In order to better develop the quality-oriented education, cultivate students’ innovative spirit, practical ability and scientific attitude as well as effectively improve the experimental operation skills of Anqing Foreign Language School’s students, the Physics Group of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department held a Senior High School Physics Experimental Operation Competition in the physical and electrical laboratory on the afternoon of 9th January.
To be specific, the contestants took part in the contest with full confidence by using experimental instruments. They were proficient in operation specification and had a serious attitude. In addition, students acquired knowledge from the experiment, increased their abilities, analyzed and summarized the rules and conclusions from the data. What’s more, each group consisting of three players shared out the work and cooperated with one another. Therefore, the good teamwork manifested the team spirit.
Evidently, the smooth implementation of physical experiment activities not only let students realize the fun of physical experiments, but also stimulated their enthusiasm to learn physics and enhanced their resolution to explore the mystery of science and technology. More importantly, when students operated the experiments, they could also apply the physics knowledge to explain the experiment principles, which were exactly the key points in senior high school physics education. Thus, students would feel it more necessary to learn physics and apply physics well.
All in all, this activity was strongly supported by the school leaders and the Logistics Department. Physics lights up the dark night and students shine in the future. The senior high school physics experiment competition enabled students to gain the joy of hands-on activities and enhance their confidence and sense of responsibility to learn physics well, which achieved a complete success!
